WATCH: How children can cope with 'toxic stress' during the pandemic

The key to kids bouncing back during difficult times is developing coping skills and a building strong relationships with a trusted, caring adult, Dr. Jack Shonkoff of Harvard University's Center on the Developing Child told PBS NewsHour Correspondent William Brangham. Shonkoff and Brangham took viewer questions on Dec. 17 about how children and their caretakers are faring during the COVID-19 pandemic.
