In Pokémon Episode 110 (“The Stun Spore Detour”), there’s a small line that completely changes how a scene plays out. In the English dub, Ash thanks Misty for her help, and she responds with: “don’t get used to it!” But in the original Japanese version, the exchange is a bit different. Ash points out that Misty has been unusually nice — and Misty insists that she’s always nice, which makes the moment feel more like a joke. It’s a subtle change, but it shifts Misty’s character from playful and self-unaware to more openly hot-headed.
