Sunderland City Centre Walk | Let's Walk 2020

Join me for a walk around the centre of Sunderland, one of the UK's most underrated cities. Absolutely jam-packed with history and even home to some really scenic spots, Sunderland has its roots in shipbuilding. Over the centuries, this north eastern city has kept growing and growing, and is now one of the country's fastest-rising cities.

On our walk around the city centre, we pass a number of interesting sights, including the River Wear, Wearmouth Bridge, The Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland Station, Sunderland Museum, the Winter Gardens, Mowbray Park, Victoria Hall Disaster Memorial, the Lewis Carroll Walrus, Mowbray Park Bandstand, Sunderland War Memorial, the University of Sunderland, Sunderland Minster, Sunderland Empire Theatre, Keel Square and The Stadium of Light.
