Ever heard a violin sing?
Ragini Shankar began her training in Hindustani (North Indian) Classical Music on the Violin at the tender age of 4. She has also excelled in her academics being a top-ranker in Mechanical Engineering and also holds a Masters' degree in Music. She has performed in many prestigious music festivals all across India like the 'Sawai Gandharva'. Apart from having appeared on many platforms all over the country, she has also performed abroad extensively in countries like USA, Canada, and the UK. She is a part of renowned Bollywood lyricist Irshad Kamil's ‘The Ink Band'. Her recent collaboration includes 'strings', fusion band which gives a grand new majestic sound to popular Indian tunes. She has been conferred with the 'Jashn-e-Youngistan' award by the Vice-President of India.
