Bill Oddie on depression, Manchester Utd, David Attenborough, and leaving the BBC

Wildlife presenter Bill Oddie chats to us in his London home with themes ranging from the BBC, sport and politics, to his retired life and future plans.

Bill illustrates why he doesn't watch Springwatch any more -- or indeed much TV at all -- after reflecting on some of his greatest career memories.

He outlines his hate for ties, his desire for people to engage more with the environment, and his ideas for future population control.

He highlights his enthusiasm for the younger generation, and explains why only socialising with people his age would be "dreadful".

Of course, we chat a little about politics too - you can see our sister project Chat Politics here: https://www.youtube.com/ChatPolitics. Bill calls the current government "seriously dangerous" and expects the natural world to suffer further after the coalition's "nonsense" badger cull.

'Chat Life' is a new YouTube channel, in which we'll be interviewing personalities - actors, comedians, writers, broadcasters and more! Subscribe to us to be notified of future uploads, and take a look at our website: http://www.chatlife.tv
