046 Archicad GDL Custom Doors Part 8: Handles

Door handles! Fully GDL scripted custom door handles. Wouldn’t you like to know how to achieve that? Although I’ve shown you in previous videos how to create custom door handles, the methods I’ve shown are a bit clunky and inflexible.
In this episode I’m going to go over how to create the same door handle using GDL so you can see the difference in the methods. I’ll use a technique to quickly script fixed geometry, for those occasions where the user doesn’t require the capability to change dimensions.
I’ll also have this handle respond to the Model View Options, and the offset parameters in the door.
