VL3 flight to England PART 1 : Sandown, Isle of Wight Airport

This is the first episode of 4 videos from our latest UK adventure. After customs clearance at the International Airport of Kortrijk, we crossed the Channel at 4500 ft to our first destination in England, Isle of Wight. First thing you see are the impressive white cliffs of Dover. From there we flew along the coastline to the Isle of Wight. After one hour and a half we reached our destination Sandown, the Isle of Wight airport EGHN.

At the Isle of Wight we rented bikes and followed the red squirrel trail with stops at the Appuldurcombe House (ruins), Freemantle Gate, the typical English town of Godshill, the Garlic Farm, Sandown Beach and back to our hotel in Shanklin. In Shanklin we ate delicious crab at the beachside pub.

The next day we left the Isle of Wight. We made a scenic flight around the landmark of Isle of Wight, The Needles.
