NC police officer killed while off duty

A mother is grieving the death of her daughter who was a Lexington police officer and mother.

Investigators say 25-year-old Kaitlin "Katie" Crook was off-duty when she was shot and killed during a domestic situation, last Wednesday night. Authorities say her estranged husband and current boyfriend were hurt.
