January 23: Courage to Witness

When you know something to be true, as in it has been tried and experienced and proven over again, it becomes easier to stand with courage upon opposition. The LORD has proven Himself True, Wise, Powerful, Just, and Loving throughout all of history! Because of Who He is and what His Word says, His followers can have courage to live out how He has instructed, as well as tell others about His Greatness and Majesty!

May the LORD reveal Himself to us as we diligently seek Him, so that we may have courage in the face of opposition, or even indifference. Help us to not be swayed because of fear of man, but help us stand strong because we know Your Goodness! In Christ’s name, I pray.
