Do Shower Steamers Need Cornstarch?

We ran a simple experiment while making shower steamers.

One batch included cornstarch or arrowroot powder.
One batch did not.

Both worked beautifully.

Without cornstarch the steamers are a little more delicate, similar to a sand dollar. With cornstarch or arrowroot they feel firmer and are easier to handle.

• Steamers without it still work
• You just need to handle them more gently
