For today’s video I recreated foods from the Harry Potter Universe.. again lol

I love Harry Potter but in no way do I support Jk's hurtful opinions towards transpeople or the LGBTQ+ community! The Hp fandom has always been such a loving and welcoming space for anyone, it has become so much bigger than Jk. I think there is still a way to enjoy this series while also being aware of the problems connected to it and the author especially.
✨INGREDIENTS✨
#1 Hagrid’s Cake
2 cups + 2 ½ tbsp (240g) flour (240g + 2 ½ tbsp)
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa (33g)
1 cup sugar (220g)
2 tsp vanilla extract or 6 drops of vanilla aroma
1/2 cup vegetable oil (125ml)
1 1/4 cup non dairy milk (310ml)
1/2 cup apple sauce (130g)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chocolate chips (100g)
bake for 45-55 min at 180C
buttercream*:
200g vegan butter, soft (7,05 oz)
400g powdered sugar (3 ⅓ cup or 14,1 oz)
a pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla or 2-3 drops of vanilla aroma
2 tsp non dairy milk
→ set aside 2 heaping tbsp for the green writing
for the pink part:
1 tbsp cocoa powder and 4-5 tsp of natural pink food dye, how much pink you need depends on how strong your color is, start adding 1 tsp and then see how much you still need
for the green part: green food dye, again see how food dye is necessary by adding it slowly one tsp at a time + add another tsp of non dairy milk to adjust the consistency
→ yields 1 cake using a 20cm, 8 inch cake pan
*I only added up using 2/3 of the pink frosting and put the rest in my freezer
#2 Pumpkin Juice (iced)
½ cup + 1 tbsp roasted or canned pumpkin (100g + 1 tbsp)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp vanilla
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp wintery spice mix like pumpkin pie spice
3-5 dates, soaked in water
2 cups apple juice (500ml)
1 cup water (250ml)
ice cubes
→ serves 2
#3 Malfoy’s Green Apple Cauldron Cakes
120 g flour (1 cup)
40 g unsweetened cocoa (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
180g sugar (1 cup minus 1 tbsp)
1 tsp vanilla
85g cold vegan butter (2,99oz) = 1/3 cup melted vegan butter (80ml)
1/3 cup plain soy yogurt (80ml)
1/2 cup apple juice (125ml)
→ 11 little cakes, baked in a muffin tin, then turned upside down after cooling
topping ideas:
make ½ of the buttercream from recipe #1
try this tasty healthier cashew cream frosting: https://t1p.de/enfm
vegan whipped cream, thick vegan yogurt or vegan sour cream
simply add as much green food dye to it until you’re happy with the result
top off with baking glitter, vegan candy eyes

#4 Plant Based Hogwarts Breakfast
tofu scramble:
1 block firm plain tofu (200g) = (7.05oz)
1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
generous pinch of salt
½ tsp turmeric
black pepper, dried herbs
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp plain soy yogurt
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 small red onion, chopped
1 tbsp vegan butter for the pan
optional: add 1/4 tsp kala namak before serving, makes it taste like egg
→ serves 1-2
sausages:
1 block of firm plain tofu (200g = 7oz)
1⁄2 cup quick oats (45g)
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp cornstarch
a handful of fresh or frozen herbs
salt, pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp bbq sauce, oil for the pan
shape the sausages with wet hands, makes it easier

bacon:
2-3 small sheets of rice paper, cut into 8 - 12 strips
marinade out of:
3 tbsp smokey bbq sauce
1 tsp mustard
2 tsp oil
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
→ 8 - 12 bacon strips
#5 Mince Pies
125g + 1 tbsp flour (1 cup + 1 ¼ tbsp) + a bit more for the surface
1/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp orange zest
1-2 tbsp non dairy milk
76g cold vegan butter, cut into cubes (1/3 cup)
1 green apple, cut into small chunks
½ cup raisins (80g)
¼ cup cranberries (40g)
¼ cup dried apricots, cut into small chunks (50g)
1 tbsp vegan butter, cold
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp wintery spice mix or another ½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp candied orange
¼ cup amaretto or rum (60ml) or sub with 60 ml more apple juice
¼ cup apple juice (60ml)
the juice of ½ lemon
optional: 2 tbsp rice syrup
vegan butter to grease the muffin tin
powdered sugar
