Two weeks ago we celebrated the day of Jesus’ resurrection, The stone was rolled away, the tomb was found empty and Jesus was seen alive..

In view of all this……
What have the past two weeks been like for you? Return to normal,’business as usual ?

Let’s consider the images we can see in what today’s Gospel has to say.
John 21:1-19
“I am going fishing.”
The disciples return to business as usual
Empty Nets
They caught nothing
Daybreak
It is not just about the sunrise
Naked Peter
Peter recognizes Jesus, gets dressed, goes to Him
A Charcoal Fire
Fires of guilt and regrets vanish when Jesus show himself
Breakfast Conversation
shared meals = shared conversation

Resurrection is in the details of our everyday life…..
At least it should be.

When we consider what the resurrection means, we learn we have a future guaranteed by Jesus’ life and He has shown himself and does show himself in the everyday details."
