Homemade Churros With Chocolate Sauce? Yes, please! The preparation of this simple dessert is so incredibly easy even a caveman could do it. It requires deep-frying so be brave, be bold and go for it! You will be justly rewarded in the end.

What are churros? Churros are a sweet treat of fried dough typically rolled in sugar and cinnamon. They are usually served with a dipping sauce like thick hot chocolate or dulce de leche. Sometimes you'll find churros stuffed with chocolate, cajeta or pastry creme.

For the Churros Dough:
Unsalted Butter, 1oz. | 28g
Granulated Sugar, 1.5 tsp.
Kosher Salt, 3/4 tsp.
Water, 1Cup | 8 fl. oz. | 227g
All-Purpose Flour, 1 Cup | 4.25 oz. | 120g
Eggs, 2 each

For the Dark Chocolate Sauce:
Heavy Cream, 1/2 Cup | 4 fl. oz. | 114g
Dark Chocolate (60% Cacao recommended), about 1/2 Cup | | 3 oz. | 85g

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Mix:
Granulated Sugar, 1 Cup | 7 oz. | 198g
Ground Cinnamon, 1 1/2 tsp.
