Joe Biden scores lowest approval rate since taking office
President Biden has scored a negative 38-53 overall approval rate – the lowest he’s had since taking office in January, according to a new poll from Quinnipiac University.
The October poll surveyed over 1,300 nation wide voters and found a majority – 55 per cent – do not think the Biden administration is competent of running the country.
Those surveyed were asked how the Biden administration handled key issues affecting the country including the COVID-19 pandemic, Afghanistan, taxes, the economy and US military.
In his role as Commander in Chief of US military only 37 per cent approve of the president while 58 per cent disapprove.
On immigration issues only 27 per cent of those surveyed approve while 67 per cent disapprove.
The Afghanistan crisis continues to be taking a big hit on the Biden administration’s leadership.
The poll found 3 in 10 Americans – 28 per cent – think the United States did the right thing by withdrawing troops from Afghanistan.
While 50 per cent believe some troops should have stayed behind and 15 per cent believe none of the troops should have been withdrawn.
