Australia ‘tearing up’ native environment in trying to achieve climate targets

Nationals leader David Littleproud says Australia is “tearing up” the native environment in trying to reach its climate targets using renewables.

“We’re all thinking we’re doing good about trying to clean the atmosphere, but in doing it, we’re destroying the very thing we’re trying to protect,” he told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“So, I think it’s important we get back to some basics.”
