గద్వాల టౌన్‌లో ఈరోజు జరిగిన రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో ఇద్దరు నర్సింగ్ విద్యార్థినులు చనిపోగా మరికొందరికి గాయాలైన విషయం తెలిసిందే. వనపర్తికి చెందిన మనీషాశ్రీ(21), మక్తల్‌కు చెందిన మహేశ్వరీ(20) సహా మరో ఐదుగురు విద్యార్థినులు స్థానిక నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీ నుంచి ఇంటికి వెళ్లేందుకు రోడ్డు వద్దకు వచ్చి నిలబడ్డారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఎర్రవల్లి వైపు నుంచి వచ్చిన ఓ బొలేరో వాహనం వారిని ఢీకొట్టింది. మనీషాశ్రీ, మహేశ్వరి చనిపోయారు.
