Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshvari is a Hindu goddess is regarded to be a kuladevata by the Komati community of Andhra Pradesh. She is primarily recognised as a virgin form of Parvati, and sometimes also identified as a form of Lakshmi in Vaishnava tradition. I thought I will get to see Pandals as they have decorated the street with massive lighting, but it was not containing the scenario what I thought. She is worshipped in local temple in some colony and then devotees arrange the procession into the road. Let’s take a look at the glimpse of this festival.
