The ghosts and ghouls of Bloco Winnoch Samba carnival drumming band playing during the 2023 Paisley Halloween Festival. This was on Thursday 26th October 2023 as the group entertained and warmed crowds by the Cenotaph near Paisley Abbey. The group are a Brazilian style carnival samba band, based in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
Paisley Halloween Festival is one of the biggest of its kind in the UK, staged by Renfrewshire Council in partnership with circus performance specialists Cirque Bijou and supported by EventScotland. This annual spooktacular event sees the town centre turned into a gothic playground with specially created installations, sensational street performers, and aerial acrobats set against the stunning backdrop of Paisley Abbey.
