Wilson! Tom Hanks returns in this new trailer for a sequel to the classic movie Cast Away. It's been 20 years since Chuck (Tom Hanks) was marooned on an island for four years. Is he finally ready to put the past behind him? Will he step on a plane? Will Wilson make an appearance?

Castaway was originally released in 2001 and was a massive worldwide smash. Tom Hanks and Wilson (the volleyball) were popular memes... way before memes were even a thing.

This trailer is a concept trailer. It means it's not real. It's just made for fun and to be enjoyed. Concept trailers are often misunderstood. By taking existing footage, adding effects, voiceovers, music, and a lot of editing, a brand new narrative is created.

This trailer is a bit of a throwback for me. I used to make these kinds of videos years ago (very effects heavy with lots of lame jokes). Now I focus on more realistic trailers. It was a fun video to make and I might go back to overly comedic style.
