Hartford Department Stores: Newberry, Kresge, Steiger's and more
This video is about the early department stores and five and dime stores that existed on Main Street in Hartford between Asylum and Pratt Streets, an area that is today a parking lot. The stores included the Hartford branches of J. J. Newberry Co. and S. S. Kresge Co., as well as Albert Steiger Company.
