REPAIR - WE MAKAROV PMM COMMON PROBLEMS | AIRSOFT
In this episode I will show how I amend two common problems with the WE Makarov. Barrel wobble and decocker malfunction will be addressed.

STEP 1: SAFETY CHECK
0:09 I begin by removing the magazine from the gun, and check that it’s unloaded.
STEP 2: IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM
0:22 I noticed that my barrel was a bit wibbly-wobbly, and that my safety-decocker was a bit unreliable.
STEP 3: DISMANTLING
0:37 I start by removing the slide from the frame. Next I remove the recoil spring from the barrel, and remove the barrel from the frame by pressing the trigger to let the hammer fall, and then punch out the pin holding the barrel on the frame.
STEP 4: IDENTIFYING THE CAUSE
0:43 The barrel is wibbly-wobbly due to the recoil loosening a screw.
Another screw, responsible for the decocking feature, is also loose, thus making it unreliable.
STEP 5: REMOVING SCREWS
1:02 I remove the loose screws on the frame and slide.
STEP 6: GLUING SCREWS
1:09 I add a bit of thread lock to each screw.
STEP 7: REATTACHING SCREWS
1:15 Next I attach them to their respective place, making sure to not over tighten.
STEP 8: WAITING 24 HOURS
1:24 I wait 24 hours for the thread lock to harden.
STEP 9: ASSEMBLING
1:30 I put the gun back together.
STEP 10: TESTING
1:35 After re-assembly I check that the barrel wobble is kept to a minimum . Next I I make sure that the safety-decocker works. And now for the test-fire.
