Engineering Drawing is one of the very important Core subject in this course. This subject is designed to teach students with no technical drawing background to quickly grasp the basic knowledge of reading drawings, understanding and mastering the technical drawing standards.

From manual drawing, the students progress to using Computer Aided Drafting to create 2D and 3D models. Lessons are crafted to demostrate step by step on how to use the CAD software. The students competency on using the software are reinforce by several assignment, test and a final individual project.

Finally in their third year, the students have a chance to apply their Engineering Drawing knowledge in the final year projects. With their CAD skills, they are able to design and develop creative and interesting engineering products and applications.

You often wonder how to create all those complex form and shape,.how to create animation of parts simulating an assembly. All these can be done if you learn engineering drawing and CAD.
Modern CAD is becoming very user friendly, simple to understand and easy to use, very intuitive, mostly graphical user interface (icon click).

Once you know how to use the CAD software, you can start designing your own 3D model, gadgets and assemble a machine. And the interesting part is you can use the 3D file and print the component immediately using a 3D printer.
