Lenovo N22 | Chromebook Teardown Guide

1. Gently remove the 4 rubber feet & 10 screws from the bottom cover.
2. Using a pick. Gently lift the palmrest up. Be mindful of the cables.
3. Remove the touchpad cable.
4. Unscrew the 3 screws holding the touchpad in place. Remove touchpad.
5. Unplug battery cable then remove the 3 screws holding the battery in place.
6. Carefully unplug the speaker cable. Then lift the speakers from their place.
7. Unplug the daughterboard from the motherboard. Remove 1 screw from the daughterboard then lift it out.
8. Unscrew the Wi-Fi board from its place, then unplug the antennas.
9. Remove the 5 screws from the motherboard and the 4 screws from the hinges.
10. Lift the LCD Assembly from its place.
11. Unplug the DC In-Jack from the motherboard.
12. Don’t forget about the motherboard screw hiding under the sticker.
13. Lift the motherboard out of place and pull out the DC In-Jack.
14. You only need to remove 6 of the 8 screw covers on the LCD assembly.
15. Remove the 6 visible screws then carefully click the bezel out of place. Be mindful of adhesive.
16. Remove the 4 screws holding the LCD Panel in place. Mind the cable as you remove the LCD.
17. Unplug the LCD/Camera Cable.
18. Unscrew the camera then remove the Camera/Cable assembly.
19. Remove the 4 Hinge set screws, then lift the hinges from their housing.
