Teardown Guide:
1. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 12 screws from the bottom cover: 10 - 7mm Length Screws 2 - 7mm Length Screws (Hiding Under Rubber Feet)
2. Using a Plastic Guitar Pick- Carefully Separate the Bottom Cover from the Palmrest.
3. Unplug the Battery.
4. Go ahead and unplug everything else. Keyboard, LCD, Camera, Wi-Fi, Speaker, and Touchpad cables.
5. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 6 screws from the Battery:
6 - 4mm length screws
6 . The speakers are now free to remove. Be mindful with the physical speakers as they are held down with a decent amount of adhesive.
7. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 2 screws from the Touchpad:
2 - 2mm length screws
8. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 12 screws from the Motherboard: 12 - 4mm length screws
9. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 6 screws from the Hinges:
6 - 7mm length screws
10. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 2 screws from the Bezel:
2 - 3mm length screws
11. Gently pry off the Bezel using a Plastic Guitar Pick.
12. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 4 screws from the LCD Panel:
4 - 3mm length screws
13. Remove the LCD/Camera Cable.
14. Using a PH#0 screw bit - Remove a total of 8 screws from the Hinges:
8 - 3mm length screws
15. Untangle the LCD/Camera Cable and lift the Camera Board out using thin Plastic Spudger.
Teardown Complete!
