‘Probably too late’ for the Morrison government to address ABC’s ‘disgusting’ bias

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says it’s “probably too late” for the Coalition to even try addressing the “disgusting” bias of the ABC since the polls suggest the government will lose the next election to Labor.

It comes after Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg announced a Senate Communications Committee inquiry into the complaints processes at the ABC and SBS.

Mr Bolt discussed the issue with former ABC chair Maurice Newman.

“I agree with you, they’ve (the Morrison government) had something like nine years to do something – they have done nothing,” Mr Newman said.

“They’re (the ABC) not being held to account, to the charter, to the act, to their editorial policies, they just behave as they wish.”
