Colorado Railroad Museum: Rail Display Glimpses

Filmed May 16-17, 2026.
During a weekend in the mid-May, the Colorado Railroad Museum had a special reunion of former locomotives of the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad at Colorado Crossings. Even though the museum does run trains around the loop, there is also displays of rail equipment and model trains. It ranges from standard gauge and narrow gauge equipment as well as model trains and miniature replicas of past locomotives. In this video, it shows glimpses of various rail equipment on display from the roundhouse to the museum groups. It also features model trains including a few glimpses of the indoor layout and garden rails. While it doesn't show everything, there are many things worth catching the eye. There is even a final shot of the FCC double-header passing by former West Side Lumber shay locomotive 14, that once ran on the Georgetown Loop.
Enjoy the video.
