6 failures made Collette The #Cookie #Entrepreneur

Collette Divitto was born with #downsyndrome. She successfully graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina.

At the age of 24, Collette moved to Boston with dreams of a successful career but the world was not ready to accept her. She was rejected in interviews after interviews.

Collette then worked as a volunteer but she was only loaded with more work but denied any monetary benefit. No one was ready to accept her as a normal employee because of her #disability.

Collette was really disappointed when she was rejected repeatedly as not fit for the work environment. But it did not discourage her, instead made her strong.

She turned her hobby "#baking" into a successful career as an entrepreneur. All her cookies carry her secret recipe with a sweet message to the world that dis-ability is simply a different-ability and brings hope to the community of people with disabilities.

She proved to all employers that people with disabilities are also assets to a company. They too have strong motivation and determination to succeed and prosper in their career.

Collette helps people with disabilities by giving them employment and also helps to find jobs and live independently like herself.
