Stories of 70s Debut Album from Original Band Member of Boston | Professor of Rock
It was one of the greatest debut albums of all time by a monster rock band named after the city of Boston. By my account Boston is the most under-appreciated band of the rock and roll era and should’ve been in the rock and Roll hall of fame long ago. The story of the debut album from 1976 and the beautiful classic rock song Foreplay/ Long Time from original drummer James Masdea who helped arrange the album.

On this installment of Revelations, we have original Boston drummer Jim Masdea who who was with Tom Scholz in the basement for over 5 years as Boston’s self titled debut album came together. Masdea was given an arraignment credit on the album. Here Jim tells us about those years of tireless effort and the genius of Tom Scholz and Brad Delp.
