Ehukai Pillbox Hike with Kids, Haleiwa N Shore Oahu Hawaii

We hiked Ehukai Pillbox on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii with our 2-year-old and 6-year-old kids. Our 2-year-old was able to hike most of the way. There were a few places where it was hard to get up the steps and she did get hot and tired. But It was a fun hike for all of us and highly recommended for families. From the top there are great views of Sunset Beach across the street!

You can park in the small parking lot next to Sunset Beach Elementary School. Best started early as it can get very hot all year around. Also, bring plenty of drinking water!
