Peaceful Kyoto: Golden Pavilion and Gold Leaf Ice Cream!

We were inspired by these peaceful sights in Kyoto, Japan. On our first day in Kyoto we visited the Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama. The next day we visited Ryoan-ji with its famous rock garden and Kinkaku-ji, the golden pavilion. We ended the wonderful day with gold leaf ice cream from Kinkaku Soft Ice Cream.
