University of Michigan Wolverines visit UCT

The football team of the University of Michigan, the Wolverines, is currently visiting South Africa starting off in Cape Town.

Part of the trip included a rugby exchange programme with SA Rugby hosted at the UCT rugby fields. Players from the Ikey Tigers and UWC took part in the day together with the learners from the Vuka Busy Bees rugby programme.

From SA Rugby, some high profile coaches and Springbok players took part. Springbok Defense coach Jacques Nienaber, forwards coach Matt Proudfoot, assistant coach Mzwandile Stick and Blitzbokke coaches Neil Powell and Renfred Dazel took part in the coaching exchange.

Springbok players Elton Jantjies, RG Snyman, Asphiwe Dhyanti and Blitzbokke Philip Snyman, Siviwe Sayizwapi and Zain Davids were there to observe commentate and explain the various drills.
