Medieval Tournament - Swords on Horseback - Battle of Lewes Festival 2025

This was described as 'Open Field Jousting', an all versus all tournament, before rules came into being etc. and was held in a circular arena. NB One of the reenactors was armed with a club, not a sword.

PLEASE NOTE: This was for entertainment; the safety of the participants (including the horses) and audience was paramount so please don't criticise because no one gets injured, falls off their horse etc. If that is what you want to see you should look elsewhere!
