B.E.2e British World War plane replica close up at Stow Maries Aerodrome

The Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2 was a British World War I plane that was mainly used for reconnaissance and as a light bomber, but was also used as a Night Fighter to protect Britain from German Zeppelin and Gotha raids.

This replica (which I understand flies) was built using original Royal Flying Corp drawings allowing it to fully reflect the original aircraft of over 100 years ago, with the benefit of some modern engineering.

Stow Maries Aerodrome was built to help counter the threat of Zeppelin and Gotha raids in WWI and is one of the best preserved aerodromes of that period, retaining WWI buildings. It now includes a museum.

The footage was taken during a guided tour and chops about a bit, as I had to take as much footage as I could in very limited time, and then try and piece something together specific to this plane from that.
