I hope that I can contribute in sharing knowledge on synergy between spatial mitigation and adaptation measures to deal with water (too much or too little as a result of climate change) on the local scale and the impact of understanding and including local cultural dimensions in this process. Working at the Delta Academy of the HZ University of Applied Sciences, she offers crucial, yet lesser known, perspectives on climate change. Expect to hear insights acquired from working all around the world about how to live in a sinking Zeeland and about how to sustainably manage our waterways in general.
