The vibrant world of A Cappella singing is thriving, and the Leeds A Cappella Society invites individuals with a passion for tunes to join open auditions. Embracing this extraordinary musical style, their competitive ensemble, The Songsmiths, showcases regular performances in and around Leeds. Nationally, they compete in the ICCAs annually, and since 2019, they've been gracing the stages of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their success culminated in a sold-out opening show in 2023. We are the Songsmiths, the University of Leeds competitive A Cappella group. We sing a range of songs using only our voices, competing in regular competitions across the UK and frequently performing around Leeds.
