And yes this autoexec.py feature can autoload other add-ons too.
Step by step instructions:
1. Get LibreElec installed on the Raspberry Pi along with the HDHomerun add on. See here: http://lon.tv/1i908
2. Load up LibreElec and get the IP address of the device
3. Download SSH client for Windows or use Mac terminal SSH
4. Enable the SSH server on Raspberry Pi
5. Log into the LibreElec server (using Putty in our case)
user: root
password: libreelec
6. CD to LibreElec UserData folder:
cd /storage/.kodi/userdata/
7. Type nano autoexec.py
8. Add the following text in Nano:
import xbmc
xbmc.executebuiltin('RunAddon(script.hdhomerun.view)')
9. Type Ctrl-O and then type Ctrl-X
10. Type chmod 755 autoexec.py
11. Type Exit
12. Turn off SSH server on the Pi through Kodi interface
13. Reboot the Pi
