Sophie is a women empowerment and social justice leader. In this open hearted talk, Sophie shares how, after a 14 year career in the United Nations, she began pursuing her individual calling: sharing her journey of being a young Ethiopian refugee, separated from her parents. Integrating her story within a narrative of change, Sophie has become an inspiration for a multitude of people, aiming to heal inter-generational wounds by speaking the ‘unspeakable’ and, thus, breaking narratives of silence.
