The second time I've played this map by the time of recording this video, Rock Escape 2 remains a fun map to play as it succeeds in making a short escape route fun and challenging. The first part, which is also the biggest chunk of the whole map, has you escaping a number of teleports and zigzag routes while zombies are usually right behind your tail. It requires server settings to enable zombification among the escaping team without being teleported back at spawn.

This forces humans to defend along the route instead of just running to the rendez-vous point as otherwise zombies will have many opportunities to just climb up the ladder and hack away at the humans awaiting the slow helicopter. With the water area below it makes for some great gameplay, and quick successive repeatable rounds.

Do make sure to jump on the helicopter on time, as once it has arrived it won't stay for long. Also be wary of zombie bombs that can still knock you off the helicopter if homing onto you when standing on the sides.

A great map that I suggest every server to run!
