Having played this map and the second level about four years ago, the map still hasn't changed a bit. Oddly, I can't find this specific version anymore, instead the latest official download from the mapper dates from version 2_5. When playing it even after all those years, it still feels like a large and overscaled map with little to offer other than a framework of brushes in which to navigate to the end. There's definitly a theme, and I like the inspiration behind it (Greek mythology), but it just doesn't look very interesting, both literally as well as the map itself.

Maybe it's because I've had a large share of experience on the mod, and played dozens of maps, but these near-rats-map style ZE levels are just getting oversaturated. I feel like navigating in a 1.6 map with poor lighting and confusing directivity.

If the map could have had more focus on optimized pathing and efficient visuals and scaling, it would have made a great map.

All that being said, I did have fun trying to beat the levels, because the balance between both teams were carefully improved over time, and that still counts for a worthy experience.
