How to build muscle for over 50 years old - Hey guys, you’re probably watching this video tutorial for how to build muscle for over 50 years old because you’ve lost muscle or are just starting you can still build muscle. Well good news, it’s not too late! In this video of how to build muscle over age 50, I am going to give you some great tips on how eat right and focus on building muscle after 50. Let’s get started!

The first thing I want you to focus on for gaining muscle after 50 is your nutrition. Nutrition is key to all of it for how to build muscle over age 50. Make sure to eat good proteins, essential fats, and good carbs. You don’t need carbs all the time, but make sure to especially eat carbs on the days you workout. You don’t just want to boost muscle, you also want to lose the fat and get that off. Now that you’re older you want to make sure you are doing exercises that are joint friendly like the ones I am going to show you for how to build muscle fast over 50.

I am going to give you some exercises in this tutorial on building muscle after 50 that incorporate all body parts, and you can do a full body workout that utilizes TriCon Training. The first exercise I am going to show you for gaining muscle after 50 is goblet squats. Keep the dumbbell tight to your body to make sure not to put unneeded stress on your back. Make sure to use TriCon sets which is isometric holds at the midrange. It’s intense and will definitely get you results.

The next exercise for how to build muscle over 50 years old is the dumbbell bench press. Use TriCon Training for building muscle at 50. You can also do push-ups, both are great exercises. Make sure to explode on the first 3 reps, then do the TriCon reps, then 3 slow reps. And that is how to do a TriCon exercise for how to build muscle after 50 years old.

The next exercise in this video tutorial on how to build muscle for over 50 years old is focused on your back. We are going to do chest supported rows. All of these exercises again making sure to utilize TriCon sets. You want to focus on trying to spread your lats apart during your TriCon reps in this exercise for building muscle after 50.

I recommend doing 3-4 days of strength training exercises a week. As you get older, you really don’t want to do anymore than that because your body needs some time to recover.

You’ll really feel it in your shoulders after doing the TriCon reps, it’s intense! Now we are going to focus on the triceps and do a Tricep Pushdown. The pushdowns with the TriCon sets really help get a good stretch and contraction, which is why I really like this exercise for my triceps. It is great for gaining muscle after 50. And the last exercise is the dumbbell bicep curls.
