Working at Bibliotheekservice Fryslân (BSF) Jeroen de Boer is fully aware of the pressure libraries are on. As an innovation specialist he introduces new ways of using and developing the library culture. For example: Frysklab.

De Boer develops the mobile library -‘laboratory’ called Frysklab, which is all about sharing knowledge. The lab shares digital designs and fabricated solutions forming a network of intellectual property for ideas exchange.

Jeroen de Boer (1973) works as an innovation specialist at Bibliotheekservice Fryslân (BSF). He is a strong believer in open technologies and the way libraries can learn from the maker culture.
His current main project is FryskLab, a Mobile Library FabLab (the first one in Europe).
