This Lecture describes the significance and applications of Orthographic Projections in Engineering Drawing and illustrates the terminology used in drawing Orthographic Projections.

The Projection Theory for obtaining the multiple views of the Solids on 2D plane drawing sheet has been elaborated in this Lecture.

Further, the following problem related to the Orthographic Projections has been illustrated in this Lecture:

 Draw FV, TV, and RHSV of the object shown in Figure below.
