South African cricketer Quinton de Kock ‘caved in to pressure’
After a “bold and brave stand” South African cricket player Quinton de Kock has “bent his knee to the powers that be,” according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
De Kock recently withdrew from a T20 match after choosing not to take the knee.
The cricket player has now put out a statement, saying he felt like his “right were taken away”.
Mr Kenny said De Kock did “cave in to the pressure” and apologise for not taking a knee.
“He says he is happy to take a knee with the team in the future,” Mr Kenny said.
“What a disgraceful turn of events.”
