How to read the Hieroglyphs of the Egyptian Goddesses Isis and Hathor and tell them apart #mythology

One of the most confusing things that ever happened in ancient Egyptian art was when the goddesses Hathor and Ise(t) or the Egyptian goddess Isis started to overlap. Traditionally, these goddesses are easy to tell apart. Hathor has a crown of horns with a solar disk in between. And Ise(t) (goddess Isis) has a throne atop her head. But what do you do when the goddesses look alike? The key is to look at the hieroglyphs. 99% of the time, an artistic scene will include the glyphs of the deity’s Name. For Hathor. It is a square enclosure with a falcon in between. For Ise(t) (Goddess Isis), it is a throne with a loaf of bread and an egg next to it. If you memorize those simple hieroglyphs, you'll be in a good position to identify the goddesses whenever you encounter them in a tomb or temple.
