In Ridley Scott’s 2014 Exodus: Gods and Kings, we see the Egyptian army’s during its march toward the city of Kadesh in modern-day Syria. There we get a glimpse of Muwattalli, the king of the Hittites in Anatolia. Looking at him, you might think that his depictions is strange but on the walls of Abu Simbel in southern Egypt often show Hittite charioteers with these long, mullet style haircuts and mustaches we see in the film. It's not quite as dramatic as the version they've gone with for the film, but according to Pharaoh Ramesses’ own depiction, this is what supposedly Hittite warriors looked like.
