Looking At Opals Under UV Light
In the video, we have a total of three opals. The yellow one comes from Montana and I am not sure what type of opal that is--it was sold to me as an opal for less than $1 and I think it was badly damaged. I decided to keep it.
The second one glows vibrantly and it's a Hyalite opal--one I intend to wrap and sell. I have some for sale already. The other opal is a black opal that I picked up at a gem show. It has red and green flashes and both it and the Hyalite have the matrix which is the rocky part.
