Throughout the ban on public events, and where safe, the MSO will continue to perform for you. Our mission is to share great music, even if you cannot join us in the concert hall.

With ticket sales revenue impacted by the COVID-19 ban, we would ask you to consider a tax-deductible donation to the MSO via the link below. Hosted by MSO Second Violin, Freya Franzen, this performance featuring our 2020 Ensemble in Residence, Melbourne Ensemble, was recorded in the Iwaki Auditorium in March 2020.

Having broken new ground, Beethoven was able to capture the essence of a full orchestra but on a smaller scale with this piece for a single clarinet, horn and bassoon, violin, viola, cello and double bass.
