Easy morning glory cane - polymer clay tutorial 527

I will show you in this polymer clay tutorial how to create an easy morning glory cane, keep in mind you always have to have two separate skinner blends: one for the main part of the flower and one for the "star".
Most of the "stars" are various hues of blue, violet, burgundy or fuchsia. The purple ones usually have a tinge of fuchsia between the violet and the white. The stars are most of the time darker than the rest of the flower
For both parts, you must have one side of the skinner blend white. The degree of white depends on the variety.
Several color combinations - I will put A for main body and B for "star". Parts measured with a 1 1/2" square cutter on clay on the thickest setting
A Violet + white - total amount has to get to 1 1/2, vary the degree of gradient anywhere from 1/2 parts violet to 1 part white up to 1/4 violet to 1 1/4 parts white. Can insert fuchsia between them
B 1/4 alizarin crimson 1/2 parts white - you can intercede a shred of fuchsia between them

A 1 part white mixed with another color (wisteria, cobalt blue, fuchsia) in proportions varying from 1/4 parts to 1 full part of the color.
B 1/4 alizarin crimson, blue, wisteria or fuchsia. Only blue, lavender and white flowers can have a blue star.
For the Crimson rambler, the flower color is 1 part fuchsia 1/4 pomegranate, the star is pomegranate with white. Scarlett O'Hara is simple fuchsia with a pomegranate star. White edging on the flower, no white edging on the star.
