Today's puzzle is by Aad van de Wetering! It is Aad's response to Sumanta Mukherjee's tribute puzzle, which appeared on the channel a couple of weeks ago:

Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. Along the thermometer shape, digits must increase from the bulb end. The grey cells form a magic square (ie every row/column/main diagonal in the grey square must sum to the same number). Cells separated by a knight's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit.
