Alejandra Guzmán - Un Grito en la Noche

Here is another Latin video. This one is taken from The Calle Ocho Festival in Miami, FL in March, 1991. The song is called "Un Grito En La Noche." It is performed by mexican female rock singer Alejandra Guzmán. The song is the first track from her 1990 album "Eternamente Bella." Alejandra is as sensual and energetic as usual with her eye-popping dance moves and gritty vocal style. In this era (early 90's), programs like this one typically used the sound of the artists' studio recording while the performance appeared "Live." AKA: "Lip-Synching." However, Alejandra Guzmán always tried to sing anyway, as you can hear on some of her performances when the music fades and she's still screaming vocals. She was dubbed: "La Reina de Rock" (The Queen of Rock) by the Latin community in the 1990s. This footage was recorded from the Univision Network in late March, 1991.
